The Smiling Moose, The Flaky Pastry, and Indigo Valley AK will have vegan baked goods available for purchase at The Frozen Flamingo Market in Spenard. (RSVP on Facebook here!) Here are the details from the Facebook event:

1. Come early to check out the gorgeous new local art market, The Frozen Flamingo.

2. Buy amazing vegan baked goods from local chefs. Hurry—they sell out!

3. Meet local chefs and vegan-friendly business owners. Ask them about their recipes or products. Beg them to add vegan chocolate waffles to their menu (because we need that!). Thank them for supporting The Anchorage Vegan Chef Challenge.

4. We'll provide simple non-alcoholic beverages and icebreaker questions.

5. Leave at 7:00 and go eat dinner at a Vegan Chef Challenge restaurant. There's at least 5 within a mile of The Frozen Flamingo!

6. Finish up your evening with ice cream at the wonderful Wild Scoops.
